1. About these terms
These terms apply to goods and services supplied by MR CRAFTER Carpentry & Joinery Ltd. They form part of the agreement when a customer places an order, approves a quotation or books installation. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights.
2. Quotations, orders and availability
Quotations remain subject to product availability, final measurements, site access and written confirmation. A website basket or enquiry is not accepted until MR CRAFTER confirms the order. Supplier stock, images, colours, grain, finishes and lead times may change. Natural timber and manufactured finishes can vary slightly from photographs or samples.
3. Prices, markups, offers and promo codes
Prices are in pounds sterling. Delivery, installation and additional work are charged as shown or confirmed. Offers and promotional codes apply only during their stated period, cannot normally be combined, have no cash value and may exclude delivery, bespoke goods or labour. A pricing error does not oblige us to supply at an obviously incorrect price.
4. Supply-only orders
The customer is responsible for checking sizes, handing, finish, compatibility and quantities before ordering. Advice provided without a site survey is based on information supplied by the customer. Cut, altered, personalised, made-to-measure or specially ordered goods may not be cancellable or returnable unless faulty.
5. Delivery and access
Delivery dates and time windows are estimates until confirmed. The customer must provide a correct address, telephone number, safe access, parking and someone authorised to receive the goods. Extra charges may apply for failed delivery, restricted access, redelivery, storage, stairs, long carries or other circumstances not disclosed before dispatch.
6. Delivery damage, shortages and inspection
Packages should be inspected on arrival before signing where reasonably possible. Visible damage, missing packages or incorrect goods should be noted with the driver and reported promptly with photographs of the item, packaging and delivery label. Goods must not be fitted, cut or altered if they appear damaged or incorrect. Fitting or altering an item may affect the available remedy unless the fault could not reasonably have been identified earlier. This does not affect legal rights for faulty or misdescribed goods.
7. Supply and fit
Installation is subject to accurate measurements, suitable openings and substrates, safe working conditions, utilities where required and reasonable access. The quoted fitting price covers the stated scope only. Hidden defects, asbestos, unsafe wiring or pipework, structural problems, damp, uneven surfaces, unsuitable frames, additional making-good or customer changes are outside the original scope and will be discussed before extra work proceeds.
8. Customer responsibilities
The customer must clear the working area, protect or remove fragile belongings, provide access at the agreed time and disclose known hazards. MR CRAFTER will take reasonable care, but minor disturbance to surrounding paint, plaster, sealant or decoration can be unavoidable during removal and fitting unless making-good is included in writing.
9. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Cancellation rights depend on whether the order is a standard product, bespoke or altered product, or a service already started with consent. Standard online goods normally carry statutory cancellation rights. Return transport, restocking or collection costs may apply where lawful and where goods are not faulty. Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method.
10. Delays and events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, carriers, access restrictions, severe weather, strikes or other events outside reasonable control, but we will communicate material delays and take reasonable steps to reduce their effect.
11. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. MR CRAFTER is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses on consumer orders, or damage caused by inaccurate customer information, misuse, unauthorised alteration or failure to follow care instructions.
12. Contact
Questions, delivery issues or damage reports should be sent to info@mrcrafter.co.uk or reported on 07424 603196. You can also submit a tracked complaint or return and refund request. Please include the order number and clear photographs where relevant.
